Located in the Coombsville AVA of Napa Valley, Simms Ranch Vineyard's fruit is exclusively to us to be used in this rare, hand-crafted wine. The rocky volcanic soils combined with the light morning fog create wines with elegant characteristics; sophisticated, complex and layered. Barrel fermented in new French Oak barrels in the style of many of Napa's famous "Cult" wines, this Cabernet Sauvignon is extraordinary. Barrel fermentation is extremely labor intensive but worth every moment as it produces rich, round, deep flavored wines that are known as the icon; simply remarkable! Aged 30 months in new French Oak barrels, enjoy this wine now or cellar age it for years to come, or both! Only 156 cases of this rare single vineyard designate wine were produced.
