Our elegant Bordeaux-inspired blend of 50% estate grown Merlot and 50% estate grown Cabernet Franc. Silky, expressive, and beautifully balanced, it offers lush dark cherry and plum from the Merlot layered with the Cabernet Franc’s floral lift, subtle spice, and refined structure. Medium-to-full bodied with polished tannins and a long, graceful finish, this wine is both powerful and poised — a true nod to the classic Right Bank style, crafted right here in Napa. Some of the world's most highly regarded wines are from the Right Bank of Bordeaux and are a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley is similar in many ways to the Right Bank in that it is the perfect growing region for these two noble grape varieties. This wine is a 50/50 blend of our estate grown Cabernet Franc and Merlot that has been aged in French Oak barrels for 22 months. It is a very special wine with the spicy notes from the Merlot and the silky texture and blueberry notes from the Cabernet Franc.
