2022 Syrah, Big Ranch Vineyard® Estate
Our Syrah offers a rich, dark profile with vibrant notes of peach and subtle hints of black licorice. Co-fermented with 4% Viognier, it reveals a beautiful floral complexity. The wine's vivid color and youthful Rhone character come alive with aromas of violets, charcuterie, oak, and vanilla spices. On the palate, sweet blue fruit and silky tannins are complemented by a touch of bacon fat, creating a smooth, fresh sensation akin to polished stones. After fermentation, the wine was aged for 14 months in French oak barrels from Francois Freres and Seguin Moreau, enhancing its depth and complexity.
